See you on the other side.

I’m not sure if I’ll get around to posting again before New year so just in case I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas, holiday or whatever it is you celebrate.

I’ve really enjoyed the past year in the company of many of you who I have come to consider friends. You’ve laughed with me, counselled me and shared many of your own trials and tribulations. While I may at times not get to ‘like’ or comment on your posts as often as I’d wish I do try to ‘keep up’ as much as I can.

To those of you who I’ve come to meet via Facebook or twitter, can I say… I didn’t see that coming! I was never a fan of either but in truth it’s been a wonderful way of keeping in touch with old friends and making new ones, among them a fabulous group called the Irish Parenting Bloggers.

Here in Ireland Christmas and New Year are a rather extended affair involving an excess of eating, drinking and socialising. Most will not return to work until 2018.

In my own house all my children are under the one roof for the first time in months and as it’s early days yet the roof is still on the house!

I will post one final link to my latest Christmas article later, (which I might try to schedule so it may not actually ever appear) but for now, best wishes to you all. To those who read every post I write or those who call by whenever they get the chance, enjoy the holiday season and I look forward to another year in your company.

  1. Merry Christmas and the best in 2018. I’m hoping to be more active with blogging next year as I try to take back a little bit of time for me. Looking forward to more from your side of the pond!
