I hoped my husband loved me when he married me.
I felt his love for me when I gave birth to our four children.
However today around 6.30 pm I will know beyond all reasonable doubt,
if he truly loves me.
What is the test?
Well, at 6.30 pm he will return from work,
And will view for the first time,
the mess that used to be the car!
Yes, sad to say,
my 20 year safe driving record,
came to a loud and crunching halt today,
when I failed to see a bollard!
The front passenger side is not a pretty sight.
The good news is,
The safety belts all work,
The airbag was not deployed.
No small animals or children were killed.
However he does love his cars…

Sounds like he’s the type of guy to just be glad that you are all right. He will sob in private!
Here’s hoping! I’ll keep the bathroom free.
Oh NO! Glad you’re ok, and I’ll be praying you stay that way when he sees it! 😉
I’ll be fine…. Just cooked a nice dinner. And parked car in against wall!
I am married to a car guy. He has come a long way since becoming a dad.
Sounds like the same is probably true with yours. I need to learn how to cook just in case maybe 🙂
Yes the cooking helped. All good. I’m still alive!
Well?
It’s 8.45pm now
Husband’s been home over 2hrs – is he speaking to you yet? 😆
These things take time! He’s good now and has had a good cry! Thanks for your concern. I also ensured I had the kids around as witnesses, just in case.
so glad you are ok that is a bad accident…and scary looking
All good thanks. Thanks also for commenting and stopping by.
glad that you’re ok. hope his heart heals fast 😛
thanks a mil. I’m working on it!
