I’ve noticed it for years.
I know my brothers and sisters have too.
Others have witnessed it.
I think it’s time to face up to it publicly.
She looks so normal. However, the thing is….
My mom has a quirky, irreverent and often inappropriate sense of humour!
In time I may enlighten all you fellow bloggers to some of the many moments she has given us.
Here is a just a taster.
My mum is an octogenarian.
I think she’d be pleased to be called that.
She is very sprightly and well, physically and mentally.
She may not look her age, however nor would you say she looks like a young one.
She hates cold callers!
Anyone selling anything.
One day I called and she was in stitches laughing.(She loves her own jokes!).
She had seen a young man come in the gate.
She knew he was selling.
She answered the door.
When he began to engage her she looked at him and said,
“I’m sorry, my mother isn’t at home, you’ll have to call back later!”
She said the look on his face was priceless.
He said “Thank You”, and walked away!
