So I’m told you can make money blogging.
Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?
Imagine getting money doing something you love.
So far my blog is in a minus balance,
as I decided I liked the idea,
of being an individual,
so I bought my .com name!
Now I have been doing the writing bit,
and people are ‘liking’.
But I have checked with the bank,
on more than one occasion,
and no money has been lodged.
This blog is definitely not making money!
The only people who seem sure,
that I can make money,
are the ones who ‘like’ my writing,
but would also like me more,
if only I would pay them a small fee.
Then they would tell me the secret.
The secret to “How to make money blogging”!
This must be an amazing secret,
because they never tell,
unless you cough up the cash.
I have friends who cant keep a secret for five minutes.
Maybe they would be able to zip it for longer,
if they knew they could get cash for secrets.
So I am a bit upset, and disconsolate,
as I have to come to terms,
with the fact that unless I can pay up,
my little blog,
will always be just what it says.

I can’t make money. Google thinks I am porn.
I can imagine! When I think of the ridiculous search engine terms that find my blog yours must be off the scale. My best so far is’ man wakes up in bed and is blown!’ How disappointing for him to find my blog!

Someone actually suggested recently that I have advertisements on my blog..and have them pay me.
I didn’t really like that idea. Fun to think of what you could advertise maybe?
I have no problem with adds on a blog. Dont think you get a choice what is advertised though!
A therapist suggested I have treatment programs pay me. Someone has a cooking blog and cooking related companies pay her to advertise. I guess she chooses them. ?

I have been bloggin’ and doin’ webcomics for nearly 5 years. So far what I have made is a lot of great friends and pleasant memories. What is money compared to that? 🙂

Thanks a million for your comment. I don’t think there is any problem with making money from a blog but I was a bit fed up with bloggers telling me I could make a fortune but pay up first! It was a fun post to write. I am glad you enjoyed it.
