My sitting room on a very boring Saturday night in, because I’m recovering from a great Friday night out…
Me to my son, “Do you watch Homefront at all?”.
Him, “No, never heard of it”.
Me, “Seriously? It looks really good. I’ve seen the previews. I’d think you’d really like it.”
Him, “Is it on Netflix?”
Me, “No channel 4, I think. Looks exciting”.
Him, “Nope never heard of it. Actually Mum, what about Homeland, have you ever watched it? I think you’d like it.”
Me, “Oh whoops I think that’s the programme I mean. Homefront is the name of a shop in the village”.</em

LOL! I know how that goes. I do things like that, too. Usually it’s with my daughter and her boyfriend. They look at me then each other and start laughing. When they’re done rolling on the floor laughing at me, they let me know what it was I said that was so funny. And sometimes I still don’t get it!
Haha. We’d a great laugh about it. I’m so tired tonight and making mistakes a plenty. Extra hours sleep tomorrow as the clocks go back so hopefully I’ll be back to my sharper self!
LOL. Don’t know why, but this reminds me of the time my mom brought home the wrong item from the store and when me and my brother looked at her funny she was like, “well, it’s the same color!!!”
Get some rest π
Ha ha ha…I can relate. It sounds like a conversation I frequently have with my daughter. π
LOVE LOVE LOVE Homeland! What a brilliant show! Glad you are enjoying it too. And sometimes there’s something really special about spending a Saturday night in. I’m doing it too! π
My family always makes fun of my total lack of remembering names of tv shows or movies. Even trying to teach the then baby of the family the abc’s and counted to three before I realized I was confusing the poor girl!
Hope you are feeling your usual bright self today after the extra hour in bed…i have seen Homefront also, but not Homeland!!
Oh well, at least you got it half right. π
Possibly this conversation started because of a great Friday evening????
Mmmm, I think you could be right, followed by a long Saturday at a swim gala with young swimmers.
How perceptive of you Colleen!
It just all added up Tric…. π
That’s funny!
And all this time you were talking about different shows. π Very funny.
Worse than that Jackie, Homefront is not even a show it’s a shop, I got all mixed up!
I think there was a show called Homefront years ago, an American drama set in the war I think. So you were right Tric π Am I showing my age now?
