The results are in…

Yesterday I asked your help in deciding which of three posts I should enter for the Irish Parenting Blog, Best Post Award. I cannot believe how many read my posts and voted. As those of you who have been regular followers of this blog know, this was a difficult week for me personally, but the support I’ve felt from all of you has made a huge difference.

So, trumpet roar and drum roll… the results are in; your favourite post of the three proposed by me, taking 58% of the vote, was….

My Life in Words.

I must say I was surprised it won by so much. My own favourite, ‘When the last door closes’ came third, so shows what I know!

Anyway thank you all so much. If you don’t mind I’ll be looking for nominations later in the week, ( I don’t want to annoy you all completely) so I’ll keep you posted.

Once again thank you all, not just for helping me choose, but for all your support this week. I am a lot stronger now than I was on Sunday and that in no small measure is down to you. It just shows… Blogging is good for you!

  1. 🙂 I feel like I won something (since I chose along with others). I’m glad you’re doing better. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels blogging is good for us.

  2. i’m afraid i wasn’t much help, as i had so many i liked, but i love this offering. yes, blogging is good for you, indeed. and i’m ready to nominate )

    1. Thanks Beth. Actually I couldn’t believe how many you remembered. I was sorely tempted to add the one about my trip away, where the car took off, but I decided against it. I wonder how it would have fared.
      Enjoy your break.

  3. And I have been so busy I missed everything! It would have been hard for me to choose one over another.

      1. Pete is great but I have about five irons in the fire right now and I feel like a one-armed juggler.

    1. Thank you so much. The ups and downs of life! They say if it doesn’t kill you it makes you stronger… not sure about that, but I’m definitely not ready to keel over, not because of him anyway.

Comments are always welcome.
